Essential Job Functions: Tracking leads progress. Identifying sales opportunities or prospects in the market. Processing, dispatching, and following up on invoices. Collection of cheques and following up on overdue payments. Sending proposals to prospective clients. Reviewing monthly performance, activity and targets. Finding link or key selling opportunities utilizing both old and new contacts. Sharing marketing research with the product development team. Identifying new market opportunities. Finding out or compiling customer applications for company products. Following up direct sales leads. Seeking out new promotional opportunities for company products. Generating intelligence on competition. Coordinating and representing company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and other events. Assisting customers in the product operation and answering their questions.
